Absence

I've been called to repentance by both my mom and one of my sisters, so I'd better explain where I've been.

First, there was spring break. I spent a lot of spring break either in Page (three days; nephew's baptism) or Salt Lake County (three days; helping my sister with her move).

And that week, my computer started to act a little squirrelly--having trouble with mysterious things like "chkdsk", "system repair", "start-up repair", and finally, "actually turning on". So, seven days ago, I sent my computer off to the Dell hospital.

Fortunately, I still have my internet-enabled phone, my iPod touch, and my husband's computer, but it is really hard to blog on the phones, and I don't like to log my husband out of his accounts too often with his (work) computer.

So, blogging will be majorly sporadic for the next few weeks. I'll try to do better, even if it is just a picture from my cell phone.

TTFN!

Inconceivable!

What does it say about me that, at the first sign of trouble, I'm ready to jump ship?

I tried to post a video of Gee walking (yes, another one), and it won't work. Worse, the error message tells me to contact Google Help with this information (a bunch of odd letters and numbers presumably identifying my blog and the problem), but the link to Google Help only lets me see discussions and forums, no actual help. Other people have had this problem but solutions are not posted in the forums. And clicking "Contact Us" only sends me back to the Help discussions. Hey, Google! I do not think that word ("contact") means what you think it means!

Yes, I know this is a free service. And bugs happen, no big deal. But please please please don't tell me to contact you and then neglect to give me a way to, you know, actually do it. I just get all-out-of-proportion irritated and think about moving my blog to another platform. And we don't want that, do we?

So instead of a video, I'll leave you with a picture, worth a thousand words, yada yada yada. (The video is better.)
