Last night at about nine, I realized that the slightly-runny nose and barely-there tightness in my throat -- that I had been ignoring for the last several hours -- were not, in fact, going to go away. Instead, they were getting worse and my head was starting to ache. So I did what all reasonable people do: I drank two large glasses of raspberry lemonade and went to bed.
Of course, I woke up feeling pretty miserable. My family went off to church and a family event without me, and even while they were home, they were under strict orders to let me sleep. This has been agonizingly hard for them.
So now it is 6:35 in the evening on Sunday, and Bradley up at the stake center helping take down chairs.
And four of my five children are currently laying in my bed, each trying to have my attention and/or touch me in some way.
Awwww. I think they missed me.
