We had a wonderful time at our traditional breakfast in the mountains on Independence Day. (Although, technically, we were just in the canyon, not necessarily the mountains.) For the second year in a row we went up to Timpanogos Park, mostly because I knew there was electricity available at the picnic pavillions. Yes, I am a wuss, and don't particularly feel like cooking breakfast over charcoal with six hungry children waiting. My electric griddle worked just fine, thank you very much.
Tyler's mother Terese was visiting and so she joined us. It was wonderful to see her, and wonderful to have an extra adult around to help with the kids. (Hebs in particular loved her.) The weather was perfect, the crowds non-existent, and the breakfast a success.
