Spanish Fork Fiesta Days Grand Parade

Happy Pioneer Day!

The view from my front door this morning at 7:30am. The Speedy Spaniard 10K race ends at my house, and the Children's 1 mile race starts and ends in my front yard. It makes for an earlier start to a fun day.

********

Crowds at my annual breakfast potluck/parade watching party. I invite everyone I know to join us--usually only about a third come. I thought maybe I went a little overboard with the invites this year, but it turned out great. I was thrilled by the crowds enjoying the parade in my front yard.

********

Watching the parade, we saw:

Cute babies

********
Sweet little girls

********

Old and new friends to play with

********

Fabulous Grandmas

********

Loud sirens

********

Big farm equipment

********

Good friends

********

Wonderful drill team babysitter

********
Awesome fun jeeps

********

Hare Krishnas

********

Missionaries

********

And even...dinosaurs

I love Fiesta Days!

  1. Wow, what a fun parade! Pioneer Days in non-existant in these parts which bums me out. I am glad you guys had fun. How cool that you have built-in front row seats for these types of things. That's a nice perk! :)

  2. Thanks for inviting us to hang out in your front yard and for breakfast too! The kids (and I) love coming to your house to watch the parade. Great pictures!
