Sickness expounded

I give up.

After four days of no one sick, I let myself hope that we were done with this stomach virus. And then Hebs vomited in the middle of the night last night. He's been similarly sick all day today.

So, to recap: Bradley was sick June 20-24, Zee was sick June 27, Em was sick June 29-30 and July 2-3 and July 6, Gee was sick June 30 and July 2 , I was sick July 2-4, and Hebs was sick July 6 and July 11. It's been so lovely, I can't even tell you.

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. Not just with the sickness, but with all the scrubbing and cleaning and laundry and worry that comes with it. Add to that preparing for Ralphette's arrival, and the general malaise one feels at 8+ months pregnant in July...I just about crumbled when Hebs got sick this morning.

Luckily, my husband can pick up the slack when I let myself feel overwhelmed. I can't always give 100%--there are days I can't even give 50%. But he's always right there, making things work even when I can't. I married a good man, I tell you what.
