Today was the first day of the Ross Family Reunion. (Actually, yesterday was the first day, but since the activity was all day at Lagoon, we opted not to participate with that part. $35/person to an amusement park that my kids wouldn't be able to really enjoy (nor would I, so pregnant), just wasn't going to work for us.)
Today we breakfasted in Kim's backyard (delicious french toast and fresh berries), and then went up into Big Cottonwood Canyon and hiked and play and picnicked and had a marvelous time. This evening we had sno-cones and ancestor spotlights, again in Kim's backyard.
And now my two oldest children are spending the night with all their cousins in tents in--again--Kim's backyard. It's strange to be here at home with just the two little boys.
I have lots of lovely pictures, but I'm too tired to put them up right now.
More fun scheduled for tomorrow and Saturday! I love family!

As long as Ralphette doesn't decide she wants to come so she can enjoy the fun too! Sounds like you all had a great time. Jeff's work is having a family day at the water park here next Saturday, so we are apparently all going to have some fun in the sun! And for free, too!
