I am not an adventurous eater. There are times, though, when hunger and chance meet. In those times, I have been known to eat things I never would have considered food.When I was in Hawaii in 1998, we skipped dinner to go to the Green Sand Beach. On the way back, starving, we stopped at some random little place and got...squid soup. Or something like that. All I know was it was spicy, and delicious, and totally gross all at the same time.
So of course we took pictures.
What is the weirdest thing you've ever consumed?
I want to go to the green sand beach so bad. So does Matt, of course, being a geologist himself.

I am pleased to say that the most disgusting thing I ever ate was Escargo. Not very adventurous of me, I know, but still slimy and mildly disgusting.
