(There's a funny story combining this two-year-old and Gee's trike. At one point during the parade, my friend looked around and couldn't see her daughter. After searching around the house with no luck, my friend starting looking around the corner onto Center Street. Halfway up the block, she found her daughter, merrily riding on Gee's tricycle, in the street with the parade, waving and smiling and having a marvelous time. Yikes! She was probably perfectly safe, but, man, what a panic for a couple of minutes. She's an independent child, apparently.)

Grand Parade, 2010 (Better Late than Never)
Once again, the Grand Fiesta Day Parade passed right by our house. (I do love my little house's location!) I didn't take very many pictures this time around, being large with child and exhausted with family reunioning. (In fact, I spent nearly the entire parade sitting in my rocking chair in the shade of my house. Very comfortable.) But I did manage to take a few:

The coolest float in the parade (by far and away). Polynesian dancers preceded and followed it, and they seemed to be having the most fun of anyone.
My big Gee. He loved those sunglasses, claiming to be a "superspy" to anyone who would listen. We'll work on the secrecy part of spying later.
