Today we took the painting gig on the road--or, at least, out on the front lawn. Armed with watercolors and finger paints, we set up outside and merrily painted away. It was, if I might brag a bit, a brilliant idea. I was so much less stressed-out about it, and children who didn't want paint just ran around or went to the park. Clean-up was a breeze, too, with the garden hose as my trusty assistant.
And did you know that you can use watercolors on the sidewalk? Who knows if they will wash off, though. I'll keep you informed.
